Bruce Heyman - Fabricland & Metropolitan Window Fashions

Bruce Heyman is the President of Metropolitan Window Fashions, with locations in Manhattan, Green Brook and Paramus NJ.  Serving both the retail customer and the design trade, Metropolitan offers Free in-home decorating services for custom draperies, blinds, motorized shades and reupholstery.  Bruce has held the position of President in the following organizations:  Window Coverings Association of America (WCAA), National Independent Textile Retail Organization (NITRO) and National Advisory Council for the Exciting Windows Retail Network.  He has been the recipient of the NJ Family Business of the Year Award, the D&WC National Retailer of the Year and the WCAA Lifetime Achievement Award.

Bruce joins Mitch on this episode to discuss his 3rd-generation family-owned business and how he has grown and shaped the business into what it does today.  You might be familiar with the other part and a better known name, of his business:  Fabricland.
