Mark Elie started K&E Travel in February of 1990.
Mark started the travel agency as an adjunct to a promotional company that sold over 20 Million Vacation Certificates in the first 20 years in business. Although that promotion company is a shell of it's former self, the Travel Agency has survived.

He started with just a few agents in house and grew to over 28 employees doing over 1,000 Airline tickets a week. In the late 1990's when the airlines cut out commissions on airline tickets, he re-grouped and reduced staff.
In 2002, Mark started a home-based travel agent program that has grown over the years to have over 350+ agents across the country. These are people who book travel for themselves and/or others earning commissions while they do so.

John Vuong is a seasoned sales professional and Internet marketer with an exceptional track record helping companies grow their clientele and profits. Jay Allen joined the British Army in the Winter of 1992 as a Combat Medical Technician. He chose that career, because he wanted to be ‘of service to others’ and for the next 12 years put his own life on the line in favour of his Queen, his Country and his fellow colleagues. He may have left the British Army, (through injury), but he’s never left the life of service.

One of the biggest things he took from the military was some of the Corps motto’s to which decades and decades of people have lived and died. His own was ‘Inardious Fidelious’ which translates through to ‘Faithful throughout adversity’. But also that of the Royal Gurka Rifles ‘Better to die than live a coward’ and that of the parachute regiment ‘Ready for ANYTHING’.
Working at boardroom level within 2 of the largest brands on the high street, he was able to demonstrate how these were transferable skills and by doing so how teams can OVER perform.
Since branching out to become an Entrepreneur, he’s instilled the same mentality, coupled with the ongoing dedication to Personal and Professional Development and observing the best practices of thousands of business owners. Having studied BIG BUSINESS FAILURE for 4 years, to understand what causes it, and how to circumvent it, has enabled him to develop and master an understanding of SCALE beyond that of many of his peers.
Having applied this within his own businesses and seen first-hand the pros and cons of SCALE and had to work these himself prior to becoming a coach/mentor has enabled him to deliver this personally devised and created patented methodology with competence and confidence.

Ron Potesky and his wife, Christina, have owned the Mr. Handyman franchise for 2 years. Mr. Handyman is the largest handyman company in the world. They purchased the franchise from the previous owner, who had grown his 6 county territory into one of the largest franchises in the Mr. Handyman system. They were actually a longtime customer of the service and, after finding out that the business was for sale, they purchased it.
He joins Mitch on the podcast to discuss his experience in business and how he and his wife came to buy a Mr. Handyman franchise.
Ron Potesky spent 30 years in corporate management. Previous to his local business turn, he most recently ran the color standards company Pantone, Inc for 9 years. Pantone was a subsidiary of Danaher Corporation - a large industrial conglomerate. Prior to Pantone, he was the head of marketing for Ricoh Americas Inc (printers, copiers, cameras) and prior to Ricoh he was the marketing head of Canon's color copier division.
Ron’s wife, Christina has been a NY media executive including 20 years with Martha Stewart Living where she was the publisher of several magazines. She currently splits her time between their handyman business and her own executive consulting practice. They have 5 kids between them and live in Summit, NJ.

After a brief stint at St Thomas’s Medical School, followed by Leicester University reading Chemistry and Applied Computing for a BSc, Aidan Cartwright became a serial entrepreneur, company director, registered british inventor, and technical architect in the security, financial and medical space. He is a contributing member to CDC NHSN steering committee in Atlanta, as well as a professional drummer often found playing in his father’s jazz club, 606, in Chelsea, London. Aidan is a father of two boys, a mad keen skier and a tennis player.
Aidan joins Mitch from his home in London during the pandemic to discuss the fascinating technologies his many companies are pursuing!
His Business Accomplishments Include:
- Developed and architected an ISDN video casting system for The John Chipperfield Group to enable live casting sessions from Hollywood to the UK.
- Developed and architected an identity system, The Signature Bank which Softbank (Tokyo) wanted to acquired.
- Developed and architected secure communications system, Esafe. The legal vertical of this, Legalesafe, was sold into some of the top 100 law firms including Baker McKenzie.
- Whilst Technical Director for Omnific Financial I devised and build the trading platform to manage the multimanager funds and built the real time integration platform into Northern Trusts trading systems.
- Developed and architected a real time infection control and surveillance system, EpiQuestLive, which is now installed in hospitals in the USA and is rolling out to NHS hospitals in the UK now. Public Health England said recently that the system was the best they had ever seen.
- Developed and architected a music rights system for On-Music that manages the commercial rights for BBC, CNBC, Turner, Bloomburg and many other global companies.
- Led a team to develop a product, Cobrador, an intrusion defence system. This team included some of the foremost intellects in the security space. The product was eventually sold to the Japanese.
- Developed an AI based shopping system that is currently launching in the UK
- Developing and advising on blockchain solutions across several verticals.
